About the Club

The Greater Flint Muddler Minnows is an organization of sportfishing persons that was formed in August, 1989. The club was established to:

Promote "ethical" sportfishing and the wise use of our fishing waters and game fish
Publicize the best practices and techniques of sportfishing, casting, and other related subjects
Provide assistance, advice, and suggestions to other angling groups to help them become more important and effective in their areas
Be a voice for organized sport fishing while maintaining a liaison with other conservation and sport organizations

The GFMM has nearly 100 members. We encourage men, women and children of all ages to be a part of our activities.

The GFMM became an affiliate member of the Federation of Fly Fishers in August 1990. The GFMM was incorporated as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in January 1991. We encourage all Club members to join FFF and support its activities and programs.
